“Things could have happened in any other way and yet they happened that way.” This is how the novel “The Road” by Miguel Delibes begins and this is how we want to begin this first “Eslabones” (Links) of the year 2024 knowing that in this “they happened like this” is the will of the Lord that encourages us to walk without rest guided by the promise that He will be with us every day until the end of the world.
Even with the “hangover” of our great celebration of the 50 years of Pontifical Approval of the Institute we begin our journey at the beginning of 2024. We begin the year and, with him, this new number of Eslabones (Links) and we could not start in a better way, the feast of Holy Mary Mother of God takes us by the hand to begin this route that culminates in this number with the Resurrection of the Lord.
In between these two festivities we, the Daughters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary with the threads that the events of each day have given us, in different latitudes, with common directions at times and with the idiosyncrasies of each place in others, but always accompanied by the Lord in our personal itineraries and in the events in the life of the Church.
