‘Oh Virgin and Mother of God, I give myself as YOUR DAUGHTER…’. The second quarter of the year is marked by the most special feast of all: The Heart of Mary. Celebrate the nuclear, the place where God gives us to be, by gift, by grace, where he asks us to live and incarnate our vocation.
‘You will be in the Heart of Mary and that will be enough for you,’ Father Claret told us in our foundational book, the one that although it occupied him so much and with so much effort he carried it forward. Is there a better to give your life than to the Heart of Mary? Claret knew that he was leaving us in the most special of spaces, where the will of God becomes real in the dedicated life of his daughters, where the fire of that Heart shapes us and sends us to the ordinary life to also make this Mother’s Heart beat there.
Prolonging Mary’s motherhood is for us the commitment of a lifetime, knowing that the key is to let yourself be formed, to let God himself do it. With my heart in the Heart and life itself in the midst of brothers who so much desire a hug of affection, a word of encouragement, a being quiet but certain, alive.
The Heart of Mary continues to be present through her daughters in the midst of this world. For us… who are almost nothing.
